25% of Sports Bettors Want Free Bitcoin Bets

The speed of transactions and anonymity made cryptocurrencies popular among the 2,000 gamblers polled.

A growing demand for cryptocurrency betting promotions has been revealed by recent research from an online gambling aggregator. When compared to statistics from 2021, the company, which has been tracking the evolving gambling landscape for decades, has found a 20% increase in the number of cryptocurrency gamblers.

Its community of bettors was questioned in an effort to learn more about the reasons why players were showing such a passion for cryptocurrency betting services.

Due to the speed of transactions, which are renowned for being quicker than traditional card payments, 41% of the 2,000 gamblers polled preferred to use cryptocurrencies. 24% of gamblers valued the sense of security that cryptocurrency betting provided. Crypto transactions are anonymous and very secure because they are encrypted. Another typical response, given by more than 15% of participants, was flat translation fees.

For cryptocurrency gamblers, some of the most well-known UK betting companies are 888Sport, Cloudbet, Stake, and Sportsbet.io.
